The service is also good. It does seem to be overpriced for what you get (some Cioppino was around $29, which seemed pricey to me for a bowl of seafood stew). They do offer an "early bird" special, which is around $5-$10 less than a normal entree. What was the best thing you ate? Jen: I had the teriyaki glazed Hawaiian Ono early bird special. It was around $15.99 and came with a salad and side (I had boiled potatoes). The fish was pretty good and fresh, and the glaze was good. It was broiled, I believe, so it was not greasy. It was a little dry, but with the glaze, it was good. My husband had some clam chowder instead of the salad, and it was delicious. They also serve sourdough bread, which is good. They also have a great kids menu, and our 3 year old loved the fish sticks and fries. (The kids meals also come with a drink and ice cream.) My sister had the Prime Rib early bird special, and it was a very tender and flavorful cut of meat. What was the worst thing you ate? Jen: I would recommend everything I ate. How was the service? Jen: Our server was good - attentive but not overly friendly. Many of us ordered the early bird special (because of the high prices) and I wonder if he wasn't happy because his tip would be smaller than if we'd all ordered more expensive meals. He was good, though, and our drinks were always replenished. Would you go back? Jen: Yes, we'll go back to Market Street Grill. The food was fresh and it is consistently good. I do prefer sushi, and they don't serve that here, so it's not my top choice for a restaurant, but when I want good grilled seafood, it's a good choice. |
